Clinical Director Apple Home Care
Wendi Bauer started her career in the medical field at TC Roberson High School under the guidance of her mentor, friend, and teacher Debbie Short. After graduating High School with her C.N.A. License she went to work for Givens Estate as a C.N.A. She then applied and was offered a position as a dialysis technician through a paid OJT program. Wendi witnessed her father struggle with breathing issues and decided she wanted to be able to do more for him. This is when Wendi decided as a single mother to return to college.
She was accepted into the Respiratory Therapist Program, was the primary caregiver for her son, and worked multiple jobs. During her last year of college, she was accepted into a paid internship program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, where she was introduced to multiple aspects of the Respiratory field. This is where Wendi fell in love with Critical Care. Wendi worked in Critical Care units like the PICU and NICU until July of 2015 when she accepted a position as an Office Manager at Apple Homecare Medical Supply (HMS).
Wendi climbed the corporate ladder at Apple HMS to become their Clinical Director, a position she has held for the last 2 and half years.
