Tracy Holland is a founder, investor, Executive Chairman, and entrepreneur who is an authority on beauty and wellness with a global track record of incubating and launching talent-led, CPG brands. Tracy has dedicated her career to creating new brands and success stories by spotlighting innovation, amplifying authentic, celebrity voices in beauty and personal care, and nurturing promising talent — especially other women entrepreneurs.
After holding executive positions at numerous standout companies, Tracy co-founded the HATCHBEAUTY brand incubator in 2009. She is regarded as one of the leading innovators in the beauty and wellness industry as a key retail strategist and market development expert. She has since led highly successful development strategies and launches for popular brands including: Naturewell by Jewel, Nuance by Salma Hayek, BLISS color, FOUND Active x Kate Upton, and Orlando Pita Haircare. In the process, she built HATCHBEAUTY from a startup to a recognized global leader in beauty and wellness brands with over 120 employees, more than 10 owned brand, and 20 global retail partnerships. Cumulatively, the company generated over $750M in wholesale revenue, she built the business to an annual run rate of $88M with 20% EBTIDA margin, before bringing in a private equity partner where she sold 50% of the business. Her intimate knowledge of retailers at the highest levels including Costco, Kroger, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Amazon, CVS, Walgreens, Boots, HEB, Whole Foods, Publix and others put her business development prowess at the forefront of HBB’s business success.
In 2020/2021, after bringing in a PE partner, Tracy spearheaded HATCHBEAUTY Brands PE Firm in acquiring two companies: One asset was a bolt-on acquisition of a collection of owned brands; the other asset, a company called Trendalytics, an innovative software company that detects social media habits of consumers, which helps inform development and shopping habits.
In 2020, Tracy founded Goodwill Brands, LLC a woman-founded CPG company acquisition and idea accelerator platform. The company is focused on cross-category brand development of talent, and pairing acquisitions of consumer brands to influencer talent for accelerated growth.
Tracy’s awards and honors include 2019 Fashion and Beauty Award for Beauty Service Provider of the Year, EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017, and election to The Committee of 200, an organization of the most successful women business leaders globally.
Tracy appears regularly in television, print, and on podcasts as an expert in these areas. She holds a Masters’ Degree from Columbia University.
