Fortunate Kufakunesu is happily married to a pastor, Prime Kufakunesu. She is a mother of four children—one boy and three girls.
She is a Pastor, Certified Life Coach, Marriage and Family Counselor/Therapist, Teacher, Two-time Author, and a First Aider with St. John’s Ambulance.
Fortunate is the Founder and Executive Director of Lily of Valleys Home of Hope, a legally registered NGO that empowers adolescent girls and young women in vulnerable communities. She is also the Founder and Director of Life Issues Solutions Hub, an organization that assists girls and women in vulnerable situations to identify and leverage their strengths and areas of concern to live empowering lives.

Fortunate strongly believes that her purpose is to serve girls and women at their point of need so that they can live fulfilling lives. Through her dedication to this noble mission, she has received national awards from the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce and the Zimbabwe CEO Network.
Additionally, she is an International Gold Award Winner in the Not-for-Profit Category for the Women Changing the World Award (2024). Recently, she won two first-place awards from the Zimbabwe Phoenix Awards:
