Owner of Alpha Elite Performance and CEO of Time for a Hero
Travis Wilson, currently the owner of Alpha Elite Performance and the CEO of Time for a Hero. A Veteran Non Profit that gives back to Special Operations Soldiers by paying for them to have Stem Cell Replacement therapy.
Travis was born in Wichita Falls, TX in 1975 to a Military family. As a child he moved to a few different states ending up in Anchorage AK where he graduated high school in 1993. Travis’s 1st yr of college was spent at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO. He decided to leave school to enter the Military as a Combat Medic. He spent five yrs as a combat medic before deciding to exit the Army to continue his education at Boise State University. He study Exercise Science and left school after completing his studies to re enter the Army and attend the U.S. Army Special Forces Qualification Course. He became a Green Beret and was stationed in Colorado Springs at the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne)
It was in Colorado Springs that he met the mother of his two boys, Mason and Liam Wilson. It was in the late 90’s that Travis had been previously married that ended after the loss of his 1st child. Unfortunately as a Green Beret Travis was deployed in what seemed to be a continuous deployment leaving his wife and children for more than 9 months out of every year. In 2009 Travis lost his father. His mentor and hero and reason why Travis became a Green Beret. In 2010 Travis had a near fatal military free fall parachute accident that nearly took his life. His injuries just compounded the injuries he experienced deployed in combat more than 6 times to Operation Iraqi Freedom and others.
Sadly in 2012 Travis’s 2nd marriage ended losing his Children to Coronado Island. Where Travis now lives after he retired after 21 yrs of service. He is married for the last time to his wonderful wife Emily.
