Aisha Thomas is a Certified Consultant, Coach and Speaker. She is also the author of, “Trendsetter: 7 Steps To Radically Standout To Be The Best You”.
Her journey began when her family migrated to the United States, from Sierra Leone, Freetown, a country in West Africa. Soon after starting elementary school, she encountered bullying which followed her into high school. As she battled with depression, she attempted suicide but did not succeed. Following that experience, she began to rebuild herself which led her to joining the United States Air Force (USAF) after graduating college.With an unstoppable mindset, Aisha excelled in her military career and has served for over 16 years where she gained management and leadership experience.
Aisha’s service did not stop once she joined the USAF. She embarked on a journey to raise community awareness on topics such as sexual assault, suicide and bystander intervention. She joined the Speaker’s Bureau for the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) and began speaking at universities, community organizations and churches. She also became a Violence Prevention Facilitator and a Master Resiliency Trainer for the Department of Defense, educating civilian and military members on mental, social, spiritual and physical health.
As an ETA Certified Speaker, Aisha studies under the tutelage of World Renowned Motivational Speaker and Author, Dr. Eric Thomas. She is a Program Manager of Mentoring 100, a military mentoring program, which provides guidance and SEL education to young men and women at local schools. She also is a certified Axiology, Behavioral DISC & Values Analyst aiding educational institutions and organizations maximize the performance of their most valuable asset, THE PEOPLE.
In over 8 years she has impacted thousands including youth, educators, parents, women and community members.
